Interesting week.
No parents on Monday - Wednesday. Not too shabby.
Thanksgiving in Conway was nice. Ton of family, good to catch up and all that good stuff. I'm the coolest guy ever to my 8 year old cousin. Rock on!
The flights home were fun in that minor near death expierence kind of way.
My car got into a fight with the neighbors water pump. It won, all by itself too! Having to pay for a new bumper isn't all that great, but considering what could happen with a run away car I was pretty lucky.
My friends MST3k fahsion tv. Weirdness, funny though.
The big thanksgiving shindig went over pretty well. Good food, good friends, good parents.
All in all good stuff.

Spent most of last night and all of today playing with my dads 12 string.
It's more or less mine now :)
Cat's kicked all kinds of ass yesterday, Colts are doing the same today. Good sports weekend.
I think I'm heading out of town on Wednesday, so no Hacienda night for me. Kinda sucks, but I get some of my grandma's turkey which more than makes up for it.
I'll be seeing my friends in a few days. Life is pretty good.

Toys for Tots speech went over pretty well.
Got some superweird comments from the class though. Time to share!
"You look good!" - God, I wish these weren't anonymous.
"Ninjas Rock!" - Apparently a fan of my previous speech on wallball and ninja like moves.
"Pray!!!!!" - I have no idea...
Yeah, fun day.

Having an odd day. Class wasn't particularly fun, though the crazy amounts of encouragement I'm getting from my speech teacher is kinda nice. Apparently I can be pretty good at talking, who would have thought? I went to lunch with my mom today. Free chinese food is always awesome. Hearing constant complaining about my dad isn't. I know where she's coming from. I actually agree with her on just about everything she has to say. Talking doesn't fix anything though, unless she does something nothing will change. Well, actually it all should be changing in January, but that's a different story. Barnes with Jess was kidna nice, she's a real good kid when she calms down. I have some work that I should do now, but I think I'm gonna play my guitar for a while instead. See ya.

I've been writing a lot lately. Reworking some oddball songs for fun and writing my own. Tons of fun. I neeeed to find another guitarist. I want to do some acoustic sets, kinda hard to do by myself. So, if you're in the Evansville area and are looking for someone to play with you can be supercool and leave me a tag with your info.
I bet tons of local would be rock stars read this thing.

I gave a speech on guitar stuff today. It went over pretty well, kinda embarassed myself though when I said something that has an extra meaning that I didn't even think about. Got a pretty good laugh out of the audience though, that's all I'm gonna say.

I went out with my dad last night.
Weird.
We went to some fancy resturant.
It was weird. Drinks were involved and "life lessons" Weird I say
I did have what was probably the best dinner of my life though.
It ended up being over a hundred bucks.
For two people?
Ridiclious.
After that we went to seekers for a bit.
There is no such thing as good god rock.
Went home and the night went from weird to superweird.
Not going to go into that right now.
Oh well, later.

I had work to do earlier.
Decided to play my guitar for a bit.
3 hours later I realized that I still have work to do.

I got lost.

I finally got a haircut.
Weird expierence.
I was the only customer in there, there were 3 other haircutters? sitting around staring at me.
Creeptastic.
One of them asked if I was alright. She said I looked depressed.
I politely informed her that I'm not, but having a bunch of people stare at me is a little uncomfortable.
She laughed at me, the others joined in.
Weird.
Oh well, it's another story to tell.
