You know what's awesome?
Actually getting caught up on homework while watching terrible horror movies.

Happy Halloween!
When I was a youngin this was by far my favorite holiday of the year. I loved dressing up in freaky little costumes and going out for free candy. Oh man, the fun I had back then.
I had two fairly important conversations last night and I saved my brother from a shitty party.
Life is good.

I'd update more but I don't really have much to say.
Some crazy stuff has been going on the last few days.
I'll get into it more when I figure it all out.
I'm not superdepressed or anything. No worries ok? Later kids.

mmmm jello
cards won
should make for an interesting series
um jarboe, I kinda think the curse is over
nothing more exorsizing than having the single greatest comeback in baseball history against the team that has been causing them so much trouble over the last 100 years
they still gotta get by the cards, though I'd rather have them face those guys than the pitching of the astros
fun indeed
sleep time

Hello.
It's been a while.
I'm still alive though.
School has kept me pretty busy during the day, and watching the sox make the greatest comeback in sports history has kinda taken up my nights. I'm a Cubs fan till the end, but watching the Yankees die is quite the enjoyable expierence.
My printer decided to die on me right when I had a muisc term paper and english essay due. Not fun at all.
Stuff to do.
See ya.

David Ortiz is my hero for the second time today.
Yeah. He saved a game at 1 in the morning. He did it again at 11. That guy kicks all kinds of Yankee ass.
#2 cool moment of the day = seeing Wakefield make Posada just look plain silly on a wicked knuckleball.
Hooray for baseball. Even if it's not my Cubs it's still quite entertaining.
Rest of the day was awesome. Barnes and hagnging out at UE and lunch and stuff. Good people made for good times.
Rock.

I think I mentioned writing a speech a littler earlier.
That hasn't happened yet.
Movies and baseball and stuff.
I watched the new Peter Pan today. By new I mean the one that came out last yearish? Anyway, it was quite good, granted I am a sucker for anything that puts off growing up.
Also watched the punisher. That was decent as far as action movies go. Being a comic geek kinda made me like the whole thing a lot less though. Oh well.
Now I talk about the game.
Why oh why did the redsox decide to wait until now to start playing ball? Here's hoping for a little history making.
At the very least, no sweep for you Jarboe. Cards lost again too!
All in all a good day.
Now I'm gonna write my speech. For real this time. Seriously.

Rock!
Seeing just about all of my friends last night was wonderful.
It's good to know that they're all doing well, even if some are a little confusing sometimes.
Oh well, nothing can go wrong when watching classic episodes of Family Guy with your friends.
Time to write my speech.

Shenanigans!
Food and stuff with best friend = good times.
Coming home and rocking out the guitar + sharing funny stories = more fun.
Having my brother and his friend join in was awesome too.
Overall good day.
Peace

* Political Rant Ahead*
Bush is depending on his education policy now?
Are you kidding me?
I mean it's not like no child left behind doesn't work at all or anything. You can't base a schools progress two tests a year. What ever happened to things like attendance and graduation rates or what classes the kids are taking? You can't turn everything into Math or English. There are other courses out there. History is important kids, what about music and art?
I also don't understand how he could brag about education when he hasn't increased funding for it at all.
Way to go man. Screw the future.
*Political Rant Concluded*
Ok, now that I have vented on all that stuff.
I feel pretty good :)
I wish the Red Sox would remember that they have the second best offense in baseball though. What is up with those guys?

I'm sick of doing math.
Doesn't mean I'm going to stop though. I need to work though another chapter or two before I'm allowed to sleep.
Stupid mid terms.
25 questions = 25% of my grade? Blah
Actually it's more when I remember that the questions for chapter 2 are being counted as my makeup test too.
Ugh.
What else is on Max's agenda?
Research paper on why baseball needs a payroll cap. Not too bad, timing isn't wonderful though.
Wallball Speech on Monday. Party!
7 to 10 page term paper on music. Not bad. F'ing long, but not bad.
Sox lost tonight. Made a hell of a comeback though, just when I was about to turn it off in disgust.

@ 1:01 AM
It's 1 am, second Run of Adult Swim. I'm just now starting my eassay, way to go Max. The subject isn't too hard though, and I'm not really that tired so I guess I really can't complain.
Other notes...
Neil Gaiman is awesome, even though his stories tend to give me weird dreams.
The packers got served today. Not that it really bugs me that much since I'm a colts fan. I do respect the farve though and it sucks to see him and his team struggle.
I get to see friends again in about 4 days. <--- makes for one happy Max.
I really need to get to work. I'll probably be up all night anyway, luckily I finish classes at 10. I'll come home for some quality nappage.
Oh yeah. Sox vs Yanks in a matter of hours. While it's not as fun for me as a Cards/Cubs matchup it will still be plenty entertaining.
Down with the evil empire.

Last night I had the weirdest dream of my entire life.
I dreamed that Puck, The faerie from a midsummers night's dream, was trying to kill me.
Yeah. It wasn't really terryfing or anything, I just woke up scratching my head. Weird.
You know what's awesome? I found my copy of Siamese Dream. Billy Corgan kicks ass.
Midterms are coming up, gonna go study and stuff.

Boys Night Out
Well, really more like boys night in since we really didn't go anywhere after dinner. Oh well, it was still plenty of fun. Hanging out with Jarboe was great as usual and it was also really good to see Farf again. The best part of the night was hanging out at my house and the three of us just catching up. This is definitely the best weekend I've had since school started, I love having my friends around. Next weekend is looking pretty good too! Anyway it's about time that I got off of here and started getting ready for the day. See ya

Been busy the last couple of days, and I'm getting ready to go do some more stuff but here's a quick update for all 5 of you active readers :) Having my best friend back in town is absolutely wonderful. The fall festival kicked all kinds of redneck ass and I generally feel pretty good right now. I must be heading out now, but I hope everyone is doing well. Peace

I'm not a violent person. Anyone who knows me could tell you that.
Hurt one of my friends and that changes though.
One of my friends has been hurt badly by someone who didn't take no for an answer. It bothers me enough that it happened over a year ago and she couldn't bring herself to say anything about it. Now the fucker thinks that because she is single she is "fair game" and allowed to pursue her again.
She wouldn't tell me who did it, she's dumb enough to think that she can handle all of this on her own. Why are people so stubborn? Why does everyone feel like their problems aren't important enough and they can't ask for help. What are friends for anyway?
I'm usually an easygoing guy. I'm not right now. If I find out who did this there will be hell to pay.

I love my guitars.
I love having so much free time that I can devote to them.
I love that I'm getting pretty good again.
That being said.
I need to get a fuckin life.
Go to class until 10, work out, play guitar. Rinse and repeat. It's fun, but not social at all, I really should work on that.

@ 7:53 PM
I had a political discussion with my parents today.
That was a party!
Not really, actually it was really depressing.
My father and I don't agree on many things, as far as politics go we're about as different as two people can be. There's nothing wrong with that of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Hell, he even said that it was great that we can talk about it in a civilized manner. Well that's until I jokingly said that I was going to get a Kerry bumper sticker. Then came the "not on my car" crap. I was joking about the sticker... but if I wanted to? I should be able to shouldn't I? I mean he doesn't care if I put something funny or a music one on there. No Kerry though. I'm allowed to have my opinions, but apparently not allowed to express them in public.
Anyway, I left and drove around for a while. Hung out at barnes and noble and then had a pretty good talk with an old friend.
Fun day! Now it's time to rip holes in nclb/ayp.
Rock

Finally took my amp back and "borrowed" my brothers sg.
I'm still pretty good with the melancholy solo thing.
Apparently I'm playing intermeddle football with my brother.
We're the Angry Squirrels.
Can't go wrong with a name like that.

Forgot to write an outline for my policy essay today. Luckily my english class doesn't meet so I can go ahead and do that now :) It's really not too hard to find faults in the No Child Left Behind act so I don't really have a lot of work cut out for me.
Anyway I guess I should go do that now. I'm gonna rock out some bouncing souls while I'm at it though. They make me happy. You should listen to them too... if you want to be happy that is. More specifically songs like Hopeless Romantic and True Believers.

Returning to class went a lot smoother than I thought it was going to. Instead of having to make up my math test today my professor decided that it would be much easier to just take the questions from our midterm that go with that chapter and count that as my test. That means I have an extra week to study for it :) Speech went well too! My professor did get my message, but was unable to call me back. She caught me up on everything after class so once again all is well in my academic world.
And now a very relieved Max is going to sleep.
Bye!

Sunday, October 3 @ 8:42 PM
Good = Lunch and catching up with Chris. Talking to Leah. Study break at barnes with Jess. Colts winning and a really nice nap.
Bad = More math than you can shake a stick at. Studying for a makeup test and then moving on to study for a math mid term on Wed. Not knowing what the hell is going on in speech.
Good outweights the bad by far.
Good day :)

Saturday, October 2 @ 2:39 PM
I'm home.
It's really nice to be back.
Not looking forward to returning to classes though. I love it when some of my teachers don't respond to my emails or calls so I have no idea what we've been doing or what is due on Monday.
I enjoyed most of the trip. Except for the funeral, but who actually likes those? It was nice to see the family. I can't believe how much some of the kids have grown.
The cubs look like they're done. That blows, the sox are still looking good, but they're not the cubs :(
At least the colts are 272025837520387520875028375028375 times better than the rams :)
