So my brother and I decided that we are going to go to the caribbean for our summer trip type thing. I'm pretty psyched, I've never been there and I can't think of anyone that I'd rather go with besides my little bro, he's a good kid and he cracks me up. I'm really looking forward to the summer now, I mean I get close to a month off to screw around before I start my job, and then there's the trip with the friends that may or may not happen, I would love for it all to work out, it just seems a little complicated at the moment. Trip or no trip, I will still have a great time with the people that are important to me.

So, jersery girl was good, very good actually. A broken down affleck almost equaled a broken down max, and watching Leah cry didn't help.
Speaking of the devil, she's leaving tomorrow and that makes me a little sad. She was good to me as always, and i'll be missing her quite a bit. Though with all the books that she suggested I should be able to occupy myself until the summer comes and I can see my friends again.

My dad travels a lot for business, with all of the traveling he has done he has racked up a whole bunch of airline miles and hotel points. Out of the blue he decided that my brother and I should have some time to bond, because living together isn't enough of a bonding experience? Anyway, he told us that we could take a week this summer and go anywhere in the country. Pretty cool of him and all, but we really don't know where we would like to go, which is kinda why I'm posting this. We can go prettymuch anywhere that has a Hilton, sooo if anyone wants to offer some help I would greatly appreciate it. Feel free to respond though my tagboard :)

I would have finished it an hour earlier or so but there was an incident involving a power cord. Hey kids, it's a really good idea to save your work every once in a while.

I did pull a decent wall run last night though!
I went to the park with his bestest little brother in the whole wide world for some good ol wallball action. I forgot how quickly I can move when my brother is throwing a tennis ball really really hard at me. I'm not really in wallball shape anymore though and that's no fun. I was tired after a half hour and I could only get 4 or 5 steps on the wall. Gus pulled an uber cool wall to wall run and I really think he might be a ninja. I mean... who does that? I think I might have been able to at one time but then I kinda started sitting around all the time and got out of shape. I'll have to work on that, I wanna be a ninja too and ninjas aren't out of shape. Well, except for chris farley... but then again he's dead so that goes to show you fat ninja = bad.

Tough Crowd is stupid too.
Not nearly as stupid as the 700 club, at least Though Crowd tries to have a sense of humor. I would just rather they actually discussed issues instead of cut eachother down all the time. Politically Incorrect this is not.

I fell asleep during the day today for a good 4 hours or so, it was nice and all but I've really got to stop doing that. I sleep during the day and then I can't sleep at night... so tomorrow I'll be tired and sleep during the day and I won't be able to sleep at night.
Anyway, I woke up about an hour ago and started flipping though channels and came upon the 700 club. Who actually watches that show? I mean, I tried, I honestly tried to watch it and see where these people were coming from. 5 minutes into it I felt sick. Yeah.
I have a really nice guitar, why am I not playing it? Good question, goodbye.

I'm under the distinct impression that my english professor doesn't really care about anything. You wanna hear a rundown of class today? "I was thinking since your essays are due tomorrow you might want some more time to work on them, so if you want to go do that go ahead. I'll be upstairs in my office if you have any questions, have a nice day." So we had a whole 5 minutes of class today again. Normally I'd be fine with showing up for a few minutes and heading on home, but I have another class at 9 and there is nothing to do around campus that early. I did manage to fall asleep in a somewhat comfy chair, so that's a plus I guess :)

The cats lost today and I was sad for a good 5 minutes. I'm not really interested in the tourney anymore though and that sucks because it's usually my main source of entertainment during the month of march. I guess I'll just have to find something else to do... perhaps homework?

Sometimes I forget how lucky I really am. I complain about some minor things going on in my life and blow them out of proportion.. But that's the thing, they are minor things. I have a very good life and I should be more thankful for it.
I have some really amazing people in my life, and while I don't think I'll ever be able to repay them for everything they do for me I hope this is a start. I know I said I loved my friends before, but seriously, I love them with all of my heart. I've been here for a little over four years now, and this is about the time that I start feeling uncomfortable with my surroundings and all ready to get out, for once I feel at peace, and it is because of them. Many of them aren't even here most of the time anymore, but when they are I feel at home, and that's something that I honestly haven't ever felt before. These people mean everything to me, and I really hope that they know that.
Just something I realized while sitting at Denny's at 4 in the morning.

Turonis probably hates us now, and by us I mean me and Jarboe. The drink wars were all in good fun but things got a little out of hand when I stepped in the ranch... Yes I stepped the ranch, who puts ranch on the floor by my feet? That would be Jarboe.
What other crazy shenanigans happened? Hrm... Leah bumping her head was about the funniest thing I've ever seen although I do feel bad for laughing. Farf shared some things with us that I would have really preferred not to know. Uh... I'm sure there was much more but that's all I can really remember at the moment. Oh well, I still had a great time :)
I just want to say that these last few weeks have been really good to me, it's been great to see all of my friends who have been coming into town over their breaks. I love you guys.

I actually read a few good comics today and I would recommend them to all those fellow geeks out there
Hellboy -hand of doom, I think that's what it's called anyway, it was a good intro for someone who has never read the series. Funny stuff and some good action, now I'm fairly interested in the movie.
The Punisher - Welcome back Frank, holy crap... That's all I'm going to say. I didn't really like the Punisher until today.
Ultimate Daredevil 1, I've never read daredevil before either, just wasn't really my thing. It was pretty cool though and I'm willing to give it a chance now.
Well, I think I've achieved a new level of geekieness reviewing comics on my blog, but I'm ok with it.
Must be moving on again, my history class beckons. While I don't particularly want to go it is the only thing that separates me from the weekend, I can deal I guess.

There are a few things that must be done today.
1. Watch the quiet man. I don't care if Leah doesn't like him, Jarboe and I are under the impression that John Wayne was the coolest man EVER.
2. Listen to the Dropkick Murphy's all day long. Oh yes, a full day of Spicy McHaggis, it will be wonderful :)
3. Get the guys together and watch the boondock saints. I did watch it on monday and I caught a little bit of it on usa yesterday... by the way who the hell puts that on tv? Every other word was bleeped out. Anyway, regardless of my recent saturation from the saints I'm still all for watching it tonight, it is by far my favorite movie and it's that much better when watching it with my friends.

I saw my old high schools musical today. The show was "The Pajama Game," I thought it was pretty good. A little long, but good performances from the kids. After the show I waited around with my friends Burgdorf and Julie. It was pretty interesting to see so many people that I haven't seen in so long. I learned that some things have changed but for the most part high school is high school. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just the way it is.
After all of that the three of us went to Denny's and had a chance to catch up and all that good stuff. It was pretty nice, but the real fun stuff didn't happen until later...
We went to Wesselmen Park to just hang out and continue the catching up, it was wonderful. We acted like 5 year olds on the swings (we mostly being me) and then spun around in the grass. It felt great to forget being an adult for a while and to just have fun with my friends. A fun little side note, spinning around for a while will give you the same effect as drinking, not so much in the tipsiness, but more in the wonderful surrealism that follows... Not that I know too much about drinking though. Nate and I decided that a punk rock cover of Billy Joels "For the longest time" would be wonderful so I'm going to get to that when I finish up some of my current projects. We chatted about some other things too and just had a great time in general. I really do like my friends, and I miss everyone greatly. There should be more nights like this, it is very good for the Bob Dole.
One downer... I broke my fragile ass twice today. I doubt that anyone wants to know about that but I thought I'd share anyway. Stupid truck doors, and stupid dangerous swing sets! Yeesh, it's late and I should get to sleep.

New song in the works... well more of a distraction than an actual song. I was having trouble working on "the song" and it scared me. I mean, it's the best thing I've done and I didn't want to mess things up. So I started on the new thing and I like it, it's a nice departure from all the happy loveish stuff I've been writing recently. Not that there's anything wrong with happy loveish, it's just reassuring to know that I'm still capable of being all dark and brooding.

I did something productive! I washed my car and now it looks all shiny and new. I went to Barnes after watching the Kentucky game, though it wasn't much of a game. It's rather scary to see how good they are now and what they're doing to teams. Anyway, I ran into a girl I used to date, I said hey and how are you and all that stuff, but there wasn't much to say beyond that so I went upstairs and read some comics. Yeah... I'm a geek. It's ok though, I'm content with my geekieness. I haven't decided what book I'm going to read next, I planned on going back tomorrow to look around and pick something out, but now I'm going to Louisville with my dad. He has to go for business and offered for me to come since I have nothing else to do.
I'm bored.

I took my test today. My professor allowed us to use our books and notes. YAY I thought... Flip to my notes on the whole thing should be and they're gone! Someone up there is having a chuckle at my expense. I still had my book thought and it was all I really needed. I believe that tests socks have been rocked. I get to my next class and open my notebook and there are all my notes! Ha...
I didn't get a chance to talk to the girl today because she wasn't there. In fact nobody was there. Well, not quite, but about half the class was missing. For some reason my professor was talking about P Diddy... What that has to do with political science I really do not know. It was kinda amusing though.

I finished Wolves of the Calla today... it was wonderful. Somewhat sad, but over all a great book. I'm somewhat depressed now though. I've read every book in the dark tower series back to back and now I'm all caught up. I have to wait for the next one to come out and that won't be for a year or so. I guess I'll find something else to start on to occupy my time. Or maybe... I'll go get a life.

I slept for 14 hours last night. It was good. You get a suprising variety of dreams during 14 hours of sleep. From a terrifying nightmare where my house was haunted, to hanging out with the newlyweds... erm I guess that's another nightmare. I dunno, it was silly and weird. There was another one about going to walmart with Logan, but I don't remember too much of it.

I'm thinking about avoiding econ today. I mean, I got my test Monday and I got a B. So I have a B in the class, which isn't bad at all. He's just going to put some things up on the overhead for us to copy, but he'll also put them on blackboard. He doesn't take attendance so I'm thinking that I can do without going today.

My English class was let out about 45 minutes early today. 45 MINUTES! There is nothing to do at school at 8 in the morning. The test wasn't today, I may be going insane. I asked my professor what we were doing today, she just smiled at me and said, "I'm returning your papers." Oh shit! Thought the Max. Remember that paper I did a week ago the night before it was due? Yeah, I didn't think that it was one of my best efforts, and I was under the impression that my professor was going to rip me a new one. She tossed my paper onto my desk and said, "Impressive." I picked it up and flipped to the back where my grade was. I got an A. Yeah, an A, to quote Mr. Steve, "Huzzah!" I feel good. That is all.
Oh wait, no that's not all. I went to poly sci today and that girl was there. She is still beautiful, she still smiles at me, and I still don't talk to her. I'm an idiot.
I know I didn't take that test yet, but I'm proud of my A so it's off to best buy to pick up my silly ninja game and start on the Cusack collection. Peace

Sooooo I didn't re read all those stories last night. Sleep just kinda crept up on me. It is now 40 minutes until my English thingie, I feel strangely calm. I mean, I read all the stories before when we had to write on them, and I wrote and did well. I should be ok right? I think I will, but that's just because I'm a ninja, and worst case scenario I could throw a smoke ball and be out the window rather quickly or something...
Assuming I do well today I'm going to reward myself with a silly little ninja game and some movies. I haven't decided on the movies yet but I'm thinking I need to rock out my cusack collection and pick up say anything and grosse point blank. Today is when the craziness finally slows down for a bit, well tomorrow officially but since I have already finished my history paper all is well. I'll be able to sleep, play my game, watch my movies, and eventually get back into my workout routine.
Oh yeah, we musn't forget better off dead if I'm going for Cusack. Crazy depressio funness at it's best! I believe my life is like that sometimes, not that I'd actually be better off dead or anything, just that while lousy things tend to happen to me they at least provide entertainment for those around me. That's all you can ask for really. Though I don't ski, I haven't tried to kill myself, my ex girlfriend hasn't dated the entire basketball team, and there is no hot French exchange student... But you know what I mean? It's close enough.
I suppose if I'm going to make it to class on time I should start getting ready. See ya.

I thought about working out earlier today and my body laughed at me. I guess I'll wait till all this midterm stuff ends before I get back into things. I've been making good use of the mp3 player that I got for my birthday. I have a few mixes that will work well for running now that the weather seems to be improving. Oh yeah, I got a late birthday card from my aunt today with a hundred bucks in it. She's never given me that kind of money before, I'm not sure what sparked her generosity towards me but I certainly won't complain.
Time to go study for my English midterm... blah.
