So I kinda hit my friend Lucas with my car door... I dropped him off about a half hour ago and I forgot he had a bag in the back, so I just started driving. He opened the door to get his bag, I stopped the car and he ran into the door and fell down. I laughed my ass off, though I kinda feel bad now.

Went to lunch with Katie today, like actual going to lunch instead of meeting in the uc. It was fun, I enjoyed talking to her as always. I have the feeling that she's not comfortable around me yet, but since we've only been hanging out for about a week it's not a big deal. It would be cool if she would open up a little bit though.

Talking to katie, having fun. Today was rather uneventful but I really can't complain, mini vacations are nice. Guitar fun and all that good stuff.

I had a nice day today. You know that girl I talked about a little while ago? I had lunch with her and well, it was nice. We have a whole lot of things in common and we even have fun with the things we disagree about. As much fun as I had today I was a little worried though, I mean I'm planning on leaving after this semester and stuff... I don't know how capable I am at a relationship right now anyway, but this girl is really nice and I do like her. So I think I'm just going to take things slow and see what happens.
I feel good right now, gonna play some guitar for a while.

So classes were cancelled up until 10 today, kinda nice for me since I only have to go to history now and that's not until 1. Now why am I up at 6 you ask? Oh my silly subconscious has it out for me again. Maybe if I were to hit myself really hard I would just go out and not dream or anything. It's either that or sleeping pills of some kind, but they have freaked me out ever since the nightmare before elm street. Not that I have dreams about Freddy Kruger or anything, I just don't think I could survive another clown dream if I couldn't wake up. Oh well, I have seven hours until my next class. Going to go find something to do.

So I fell asleep at 11 or so last night, I guess I was still wiped out from Friday. I have the Pete and Pete theme song stuck in my head... Please don't ask me how it got in there. Anyway it got me thinking, they should make some Pete and Pete dvds. That was a quality show, it airs on Noggin, but we don't have that channel. So the only times I get to ride the nostalgia wave is when I visit my grandfather in north carolina. Oh well, random thoughts are fun!

Blogging from lukes at the moment. After a rather interesting excursion to Barnes we have returned here to rock some video games out. They're kinda kicking our ass at the moment though.
I'm somewhat anxious about tomorrow... but I think I'll be alright. I mean, I talked to her yesterday and it wasn't an issue, and I didn't even know her.
Looks like we're watching the Osbournes now, not really my thing but it's something to do. I'll probably post again when I get home in a little bit. That's all for now.

Had to take a break from kung pow to get coffee with my aunt. It was pretty nice, I haven't talked to her in a while so it was good to catch up on things. She wants me to come visit her in Seattle and I REALLY want to. I just don't have the time right now, I will be working all summer for the most part at tls for my dad, and the little bit of time off I have is going to be spent with my friends. As soon as I have the time I'm totally going though, I mean it's Seattle, there's stuff to do there. Southern Indiana isn't all it's cracked up to be... oh wait. It's not cracked up to be anything.
Going to return to kung pow now, today will be full of silly movies until some friends get off of work.

Do yourself a favor, watch more Conan. It's really wonderful that comedy central airs them during the day now. Sometimes that show is all I really need to be ok with the world... Well maybe not quite, but it does help.
So I have friends that are looking to set me up with someone, I guess that's cool. I mean I'd kinda like to date around a little bit right now to get my mind off of some things. My den has been hijacked! I didn't realize a phone cord would stretch all the way too my room. Lucky for me that it did. No tv in here though, kinda gave that to my mom a while ago because i'm usually never in here. No cartoons or movies for max. Things have a way of working themselves out, for a while I wanted to believe that but had some trouble. It's starting to look that way though, some wonderful kids that I've known for quite some time are finally getting the happiness they deserve and that really makes me feel good. When my friends are happy I am happy. Well, minus the sore shoulder, darn little brothers. Time to go to class now... All of my classes. Then catch up on some much needed sleep.

My brother tackled me about an hour ago kinda out of the blue... After a 10 minute wrestling match I convinced him to go upstairs and leave me alone. I think I pulled something in my shoulder though. Lately i've kinda avoided talking to some people, not that I have an issue with them or anything. I just don't really have anything to say, and I value our friendship and the conversations we have enough to where I think silly small talk isn't needed. There was nothing to eat when I came home so I started making a salad. Just about finished making it when I noticed that we didn't have any croutons... I still wanted something crunchy in there though. I searched the cabinets for some crackers of some sort, but couldn't find anything. Then I saw some gram crackers on the counter... Sure why not? Suprisingly good in salads.

I decided that my poli sci class is worthless and I'm going to blow it off today so I can come home and sleep. Not really the wisest decision with the whole academic probation, but since the guy dumbed the class down this semester it's about as challenging as the government class I took freshmen year.

Currently listening to some rufio, popish punk rock, but it's good stuff. Nice guitar, better than average lyrics and vocals, and some of their songs just have a knack for describing how I feel.

Ya know, one advantage to my recent bit of antisocialness has been the improvement of my guitar playing... I used to think I was pretty good, all though highschool all I would really do is play. I was proud of my abilities and I even thought about going to school for it, it didn't really work out though. Summer came and I had to get a job, working for my dad at Toyota, the money was wonderful... more than any kid my age deserves, but the hours were terrible. It really cut into the time I spent with my friends and my guitar playing. I regressed a lot over the summer, couldn't play half the things that weren't much of an issue before. It stayed that way over the first semester of school, I'm not real sure why. I had all the time in the world, I just didn't play as much as I used to. Because of the schedule I'm on I rarely see any of my friends during the week. I've been dedicating this time to myself to two things really, conditioning my body for this summer... and working on the guitar. Both seem to be coming along pretty well, I'm kinda happy right now. At least as happy as one antisocial kid can be.
Since I got that 6 hour nap in earlier it's going to be kinda tough to get to sleep, I should really make an effort though, morning classes aren't so friendly to insomniacs. I don't really want to sleep though, I had a weird dream today. Nothing scary or painful, just weird. I'm not going to get into it here.
Plans for the rest of the night... play for an hour or two, attempt some sleep.

Played my guitar until my fingers started to hurt... Not like an annoyance... I played until I physically could not anymore. It was good for me though, I've been kinda lazy with my playing lately and it's made me regress a bit. A few weeks of this stuff and I'll be decent again I think. Jeni said I'm a mess tonight... That's more or less true, but the company of good friends was all I really needed to feel good again.
Saw Sara today, it's kinda weird seeing someone for the first time in 5 or so months. I dunno if she saw me or not, I was watching the band play so I didn't really make an effort to talk to her. Oh well, weird.
Jeni also told me that she had new ideas for songs, this is very good because I spent about 3 hours playing last night and I have plenty of ideas as well. Yay for songwriting.
A rather cute girl at the wadi talked me into buying a cd that I didn't really want... Not that I didn't like the band, it's just that my friend just bought the cd and he lives across the street from me. It's kinda funny what a little persistence and some smiles can do to me. I'm a dork.

Songwriting wasn't as productive as last time, but it was still a lot of fun. I think I'm finally going to start taking some of the advice that a friend has been trying to give me for quite some time now. It's not really easy, but it has to be done... hopefully I'll be better for it.
I still have a lot of thoughts going though my head, no jeni to help sort them out into song though. It looks like I'm going to spend the night with my guitar, ya know she was right when she said that thing was better than a girlfriend sometimes. I mean, not in a lot of ways obviously, but since I've never been good with words it gives me a chance to get my feelings out.

So I talked to Sara today... I don't think I've written about her much on here. I honestly haven't had that much to say, we were together she hurt me we stopped being together. It happened a while ago and I'm over it so there was really not much to write about on here. So class today wasn't so bad, it's a bit of an adjustment waking up early but it's really nothing to complain about. I found out that my friend mike has the same 3 hour break as me... so now I have someone to go to the gym with. This is very good news because I want to be in nice shape for the lake this summer.
I'm currently watching feeling minnesota, it's not really what I'd call a great movie, but it's entertaining... or maybe I'm just easily amused. I should be getting to bed pretty soon, till I get used to this waking up thing. I'm out for now.

So I start classes tomorrow... morning classes. Ew... I guess it's not that bad though, more incentive to use the gym after class and come home to start the day. It will be kinda nice to be done with everything by 11.
I was inspired to write something recently, but I can't really work on it because my finger is still hurting a little. The tune is still in my head though so that's good. Hopefully i'll still remember it tomorrow.
Sleep now I guess, it's a tad early to be going to bed even if I have to wake up early tomorrow, i'm still pretty tired from last night/this morning though.

I'm very much looking forward to transferring up to ball state even if it may take a while... Matt Jarboe is my best friend, that kid is there for me whenever I need him and I really do appreciate the talks that we have, I cannot wait till I'm at school with him so we can have these talks all the time.

Jeni and I wrote a song today! Probably the best one that I've been a part of. It's pretty amazing how after talking to her about how I feel she can come up with something beautiful. I've got a lot of work to do on the guitar end... I like what I wrote for it, but it's going to take a lot of effot to make it all fit just right. It felt so good to get some of that stuff out of my system, had to draw back on some feelings from years ago but it made for pretty music. After the wonderful music making I met up with some good friends at Barnes, and hey I have my pseudo girlfriend again! Ha funny... it's kinda sad though, my fake relationship with leah outlasted my longest real one by almost two months now. Oh well, I can't really complain, the music thing is looking up... maybe I'll meet some groupies? That's all for now.

Tonight was fun, I enjoyed spending time with my friends. Tomorrow I finally get a chance to write a bit with Jeni and hopefully get some of these feelings I've been having lately out of my system. I have tons of ideas for songs tomorrow... who knows what will actually get out there though. This post sounds a little generic but I just really don't feel like going into too much depth on my feelings right now, I guess that's what tomorrow is for. I may post some of what we come up with tomorrow depending on how personal it is and who the songs concern... never know who reads these silly things anyway. Or maybe I do know who reads this and that's the problem? Funny how that stuff works. I think I'll probably post some anyway just to give everyone a taste of what we're capable of :) Sleepy time now.

After watching stand by me I did some thinking... I kinda wish I had friends like that. I mean I love the friends I have, they're amazing people. It's not that I don't love being friends with them, it's just weird because, as good of friends as we all are I've only known them for a couple of years. I've moved 15 times now and because of that I have no solid home. I mean now Evansville is home, but it's not like i've been somewhere all my life and established roots and all that stuff. The friends I have tell stories about when they were children and the crazy adventures they got into, i'm happy for them. Sometimes I just wish I had that too.

I picked up some movies today... the boondock saints because I heard lots of good things about it, it was pretty good. I'll have to show it to my Irish brother Jarboe, he will enjoy it lots. Stand by me because it's a wonderful movie that i've loved for quite some time now, and Vampire hunter d because i'm a big geek.
I'm having a small gathering tomorrow for some close friends, it should be lots of fun. There are some things that I'd like to get out of my system, not real sure how to word it yet... which means i'll be back in a bit.

So, I decided that I wasn't going to be sick anymore and I was going to be social tonight. Went to see paradigim at the briar and bean with jeni and some kids. It was fun, pretty good show, though i'd really like to see them play electric... they're an alt rock band that was doing some pretty hardcore acoustic and I wanna see them in their real element. After the show I stayed around for a bit talking to Jen and some kids, when I say I was talking I mean I stood around for a while. After a little bit I headed out, not before giving Jeni the cds I made for her forever ago. We're finally gonna start our music thing! I am very excited! Anyway going to watch donnie darko now... i've heard good things. I feel pretty good right now :)

I hung out with my good friends Jarboe and Jeni today. It was nice playing pool and talking about things, we watched a movie as well. The thing is... when I was with them it was also a little painful because it made me realize how alone I am. I mean, I have friends and that's wonderful, but seeing them together really made me want to be with someone again. I haven't felt that way in about 5 months now so it's a little odd I guess. The only trouble with that is I haven't met anyone that interests me. Well, there is one person that interests me kinda, but I'm fairly sure it's never going to happen so I don't really think about it.
I'm hoping that when the next semester starts I'll be able to meet some cool kids and possibly find a nice girl? I dunno if that's really a good idea though because I'm really looking to transfer out after this year. Wow, that's no good... I really shouldn't complain though because I don't have it that bad.
Oh well, tonight was still fun.
